SMOK Nord Coils

Five coil options across three construction types make the SMOK Nord coils one of the widest selections available for a pod kit. Mesh, ceramic, and regular wire are all covered, with resistances running from 0.6 ohm DTL right through to 1.4 ohm MTL. Sold in a 5 pack with press-fit installation.

The lower-resistance SMOK Nord coils at 0.6 ohm pair with shortfill e-liquids and high-VG blends, while the 0.8 and 1.4 ohm options work well with nic salt e-liquids and 50/50 e-liquids.

SMOK Nord Coils Difference

The 0.6 ohm mesh is the pick for maximum clouds and flavour intensity with high-VG liquids. The 0.8 ohm mesh sits between DTL and MTL and handles nic salts at 10mg without the draw feeling too open. The two 1.4 ohm options both deliver tight MTL, but the ceramic lasts longer and gives a purer taste, while the regular wire produces a sharper throat hit that suits higher-strength nic salts at 20mg.
