The catch is fit. Each IVG refill pods range only works with the kit it was designed for. The 2400 pod won't click into a Pro 12.

IVG 2400 and Air Pods - 4-in-1 Format
The IVG 2400 and IVG Air pods share the same 4-in-1 architecture. One pod carries four sealed 2ml chambers, each with a different flavour. You twist a dial on the kit to switch between them.
Total e-liquid sits at 8ml per pod, all 20mg nic salt.
2400 was the original UK release after the prefilled refill shift in mid-2025. Air came later as a similar 4-in-1 platform with its own kit body and flavour line. The pods don't cross over - 2400 pods only fit the 2400 kit, Air pods only fit the Air kit.

IVG Pro 12 Pods - 10K Puff Two-Piece
Pro 12 is a different format from the 4-in-1 ranges. Each pack contains a 2ml prefilled pod and a separate 10ml e-liquid container. You install the pod, vape until it tastes weaker, then top it up from the container.
The system delivers around 10,000 puffs from one set.
Pro 12 is also the only IVG pod range that comes in 10mg and 0mg as well as the standard 20mg. If you're stepping nicotine down or want nicotine-free pods, this is the range that supports it.

IVG Smart Max Pods - Smart 5500 Upgrade Path
Smart Max is the upgraded version of the older IVG Smart 5500. The format mirrors Pro 12. You get a 2ml prefilled pod plus a 10ml refill container that tops the cartridge back up through a one-way valve.
The full set delivers around 10,000 puffs. The kit body is unique to Smart Max and the pods carry 20mg nic salt only.

IVG Savr and XL 35K - The Compact and the Big-Format Ends
Savr is the lightest IVG pod range. Each Savr pod holds 2ml prefilled at 20mg nic salt, with a 6,000 puff window. The kit body is smaller than Pro 12 or Smart Max, built for pocket carry.

XL 35K sits at the other end. The pod + dual 10ml container format pushes the puff window to around 35,000 - the longest IVG runs. 15 flavours, 20mg nic salt only, built for vapers who want minimum swap frequency.

How IVG Pods Work as a System
Every active IVG pod is prefilled at the factory. You can't open them or add your own e-liquid - the chamber is sealed and the coil is built in. When the pod runs dry or the flavour drops off, you discard the pod and click a new one in.
Two formats sit. Pure prefilled (2400, Air, Savr) - one pod, vape until empty, swap. Two-piece refill (Pro 12, Smart Max, XL 35K) splits the job.
You vape the 2ml prefilled pod, then a separate refill container tops it back up through a one-way valve when it empties. The two-piece format extends pod life dramatically and is the reason Pro 12 and Smart Max reach 10K puffs without you swapping pods every day.
Coil tech across the range is mesh. No coil priming, no resistance settings, no airflow tuning. Click in, draw, vape.

Nicotine Strengths Across IVG Pods
Most of the IVG pod range is 20mg nic salt only. That's the TPD ceiling for nic salt e-liquid in the UK and the strength that suits most ex-smokers or heavy bar-vape users moving across to refillable.
Pro 12 is the only exception. Pro 12 pods are stocked in 20mg, 10mg and 0mg. The 10mg works as a stepping-down option from 20mg.
The 0mg is nicotine-free - useful if you've quit nicotine but want to keep the ritual, or if you mix nicotine and zero pods through the day. No other IVG pod range carries the lower strengths.
All IVG pods use nicotine salt formulation rather than freebase. Nic salt absorbs faster, hits smoother at higher strengths and matches the flavour profile most UK vapers have moved to since the prefilled refill shift. Picking the Right IVG Pod Range For You
If you already have an IVG kit, pod choice is decided for you - match the range name on the kit to the refill collection. If you're picking your first IVG range from scratch, three considerations narrow it down.
One, puff count vs price. 2400 and Air give you the lowest per-pod cost. Pro 12 and Smart Max give you more puffs per pack at a higher unit price.
XL 35K gives you the longest single-pod run. Two, flavour variety per session. The 4-in-1 ranges (2400, Air) let you switch between four flavours on one pod.
Pro 12, Smart Max, Savr and XL 35K are one flavour per pod - you commit to that flavour until it's done. Three, nicotine flexibility. If you want anything other than 20mg, Pro 12 is the only choice.
