Click each section for full recycling instructions.
Take to your local household recycling centre (HWRC)
Drop in supermarket battery recycling bins
Look for WEEE electronics recycling points in car parks
Some councils offer curbside e-waste collection
Vape batteries are lithium-ion. Never put them in general waste as they can cause fires in bin lorries and at landfill sites.
Dispose of at household recycling centres with small electronics
Metal coils can go in metal recycling if separated
Plastic pod casings go with plastic recycling if cleaned
Cotton wicks can't be recycled (contaminated by e-liquid)
If you can separate the metal coil from the plastic pod housing, each part can be recycled with its respective material stream.
Rinse out empty bottles thoroughly
Recycle with your normal plastic household waste
Caps and pouring nibs are also recyclable plastic
Cardboard packaging goes with paper/cardboard recycling
E-liquid bottles, caps, and pouring nibs are all standard plastic. Once rinsed, they go straight in your normal plastic recycling bin.
Flatten all cardboard boxes
Recycle with your normal paper/cardboard collection
Remove any plastic inserts or foam padding first
Plastic bags and bubble wrap go in soft plastic recycling
All cardboard packaging from your vape products can be recycled through your normal household paper and cardboard collection.
