What is a sub-ohm tank?

Any vape tank running coils below 1.0 ohm - in practice that means 0.15Ω to 0.5Ω on most modern coils. You vape direct-to-lung at higher wattages. More vapour, more flavour, bigger clouds than MTL.

Can I use nic salts in a sub-ohm tank?

You can, but it's not pleasant. The amount of vapour a sub-ohm tank kicks out makes even 10mg salt feel rough on the throat. Freebase at 3mg or 6mg is the way to go.

Which sub-ohm tanks don't leak?

Ones with top airflow. When the air slots sit on top of the coil rather than underneath, there's nowhere for liquid to seep out. Have a look at the product descriptions - they'll tell you where the airflow sits.

Sub-ohm tanks for high-wattage direct-to-lung (DTL) vaping. Coils run between 0.15Ω and 0.5Ω these days - nearly all mesh - and you'll want high VG liquids at 70/30 or above to get the most out of them. Thick clouds, bold flavour, that's what sub-ohm vaping is about. Every tank here has a 510 fitting so it'll screw onto whatever box mod you've already got.
