About Vaporesso Replacement Coils
Vaporesso replacement coils are the consumable heart of every Vaporesso kit that uses a separate atomiser - from the GTX coils that power the Luxe pod-mod family to the GTi coils that drive the Armour Ultra sub-ohm mod. The coil is what turns e-liquid into the smooth, flavour-rich vapour Vaporesso is known for worldwide.
Below you will find every Vaporesso coil family we currently stock, with full kit compatibility, resistance options and guidance on choosing the right ohm rating for your draw style.
Vaporesso is designed and manufactured by SMOORE, the world's largest atomisation technology company. Although the brand is global rather than UK-made, every Vaporesso coil sold here is engineered to UK TPD standards and supplied through authorised UK distribution.
Buying genuine matters - counterfeit coils are common online and can deliver burnt flavour, leak, or fail to fire correctly on regulated mods. Vaporesso's authenticity verification system on the box and pack lets you confirm a genuine coil in seconds.
Vaporesso's current coil roadmap centres on two platforms: the GTX family (the 510-thread workhorse for pod kits and pod mods) and the GTi family (the press-fit higher-wattage platform for the Armour series and iTank ecosystem).
Older coil families (GTR for legacy Target Pro hardware, SKRR QF Mesh and QF Strip for classic SKRR tanks, GT Mesh for legacy NRG/Cascade tanks) remain as legacy support, held while supplies last. The right coil for you depends entirely on the kit you own.
So the compatibility table below is the quickest way to match a coil family to your device. If you are still choosing a kit, the full hardware range is on the Vaporesso brand page.
Current Vaporesso Coil Platforms - GTX and GTi

The GTX coil platform is Vaporesso's most widely used current coil family. It uses a 510-style screw thread and fits a huge cross-section of the brand's pod kits and pod mods - the Luxe XR pod, the Armour G and Armour GS pod cartridge, the Target PM80, GTX Go and GTX One series.
Mesh construction gives faster ramp-up and cleaner flavour than traditional wire, and the wide resistance range covers everything from tight MTL through full direct-lung vaping. Resistances stocked: 0.15 ohm, 0.2 ohm, 0.3 ohm, 0.4 ohm, 0.6 ohm, 0.8 ohm and 1.2 ohm.

The GTi coil platform is Vaporesso's newer, higher-performance mesh family designed for the Armour series and the iTank ecosystem. Where GTX is the do-it-all 510 workhorse, GTi uses a press-fit base and a slightly larger chamber for richer vapour production and improved coil life on higher-wattage devices.
It is the coil to fit if you run an Armour Ultra, Armour Max, Target 200 or iTank T sub-ohm tank. Resistances stocked: 0.2 ohm and 0.4 ohm mesh.
GTX vs GTi - The Practical Difference
The single most common question we get about Vaporesso coils is whether GTX and GTi are interchangeable. They are not. The two platforms differ on the connection (510 thread for GTX, press-fit for GTi), the chamber size (larger on GTi), and the wattage envelope (GTi is rated higher).
Choose by your kit, not by resistance:
-
GTX coils - 510-thread, fits Luxe XR pod, Armour G/GS pod cartridge, Target PM80, GTX Go 40/80, GTX One and GTX One Pro. Wattage range approximately 20-60W depending on resistance.
-
GTi coils - press-fit, fits Armour Ultra, Armour Max, Target 200 and the iTank T sub-ohm tank. Wattage range approximately 40-80W. Built for richer flavour and longer coil life on higher-wattage builds.
Legacy Vaporesso Coil Families - GTR, SKRR and GT Mesh
Three legacy coil families remain for vapers still running classic Vaporesso hardware. Stock is held while supplies last - legacy coil families are not being replenished once depleted, so we recommend ordering ahead if you rely on one of these older platforms.
-
GTR coils - the predecessor to GTX, needed for older Target Pro and Target Mini hardware.
-
SKRR QF Mesh and QF Strip coils - for the classic SKRR sub-ohm tank used with Luxe, Luxe-S and Forz mod platforms.
-
GT Mesh coils - for the older NRG, NRG-S and Cascade tank ecosystem.

If your kit uses a pod with a built-in coil (XROS COREX, Luxe X COREX, Eco Nano), there is no separate coil to fit - the entire pod is replaced. Those refills sit on the Vaporesso replacement pods page rather than here.
Choosing the Right Ohm for Your Draw Style
Vaporesso coils span roughly 0.15 ohm at the cloud-chasing end through 1.2 ohm at the tight MTL end, and the resistance directly shapes how your kit performs. Lower-ohm coils (0.15 to 0.4) fire hotter, vaporise more liquid per puff and produce bigger clouds - best paired with 70/30 or higher VG freebase liquid for direct-to-lung vaping.
Higher-ohm coils (0.6 to 1.2) run cooler, sip liquid slowly and suit nicotine salts at 10mg or 20mg for a tighter, more cigarette-like MTL draw.
If you are not sure where to start, 0.6 ohm and 0.8 ohm GTX heads cover the largest range of users - either restricted DTL or loose MTL depending on the airflow setting on your kit. For pure mouth-to-lung with nic salts, lean towards 0.8 ohm or 1.2 ohm.
For warm clouds with freebase, drop to 0.3 ohm GTX or 0.2 ohm GTi.

How Long Vaporesso Coils Last and How to Extend Coil Life
A Vaporesso coil typically lasts approximately 7 to 14 days of regular use, though heavy daily vapers may replace sooner and lighter users may stretch a coil out to roughly 3 weeks.
Lifespan is driven by wattage, the sweetness of your e-liquid (sweetener residue burns the cotton faster), how well you primed the coil before first use, and whether you let it dry-fire when the tank runs low.
You can extend coil life by priming properly (drip 4 to 6 drops of liquid onto the exposed cotton before fitting, then leave the filled kit to stand for 5-10 minutes), staying within the wattage range printed on the coil, keeping your tank topped up, and avoiding very dark or heavily sweetened liquids when possible.
