Vaporesso GTX Coils

Vaporesso GTX coils are mesh replacement coils that fit 20+ Vaporesso kits and tanks. Ten resistance options from 0.15Ω to 1.2Ω cover DTL, RDL, and MTL vaping styles. Standard mesh and dual mesh versions are both available.

The range splits into seven standard mesh coils (0.15Ω to 1.2Ω) and three dual mesh coils (0.15Ω, 0.2Ω, 0.3Ω). All GTX coils use triple silicone O-rings to cut down on leaking. They're sold in packs of five across every resistance.

If your kit or tank is on this list, GTX coils are the ones you need. The newer GTX-2 versions (marked on the packaging) have improved O-ring seals but fit the same kits.

Mesh vs Dual Mesh GTX Coils

This is the most common question. Three resistances (0.15Ω, 0.2Ω, 0.3Ω) come in both standard mesh and dual mesh versions. The rest are standard mesh only.

Dual mesh gives stronger flavour and more vapour at the same resistance.

Dual mesh heats more e-liquid at once because of the extra surface area. If you vape DTL at 0.2Ω and want more from each hit, the dual mesh version of the same resistance is the upgrade. The standard mesh version still does the job well and tends to last a bit longer on e-liquid.

GTX Coil Resistance Guide

DTL Coils (0.15Ω to 0.3Ω)

Low resistance GTX coils (0.15Ω to 0.3Ω) use NiCr mesh. The 0.2Ω is the most searched GTX coil resistance. It sits in the middle of the DTL range and works well with 70/30 or max VG shortfills at 45–60W.

RDL Coils (0.4Ω to 0.6Ω)

RDL coils use FeCrAl mesh. The 0.4Ω sits between DTL and MTL. Loose enough for a relaxed draw but tight enough for nic salts at 20mg if you prefer a warmer vape. The 0.6Ω runs cooler and suits nic salts or 50/50 e-liquids.

MTL Coils (0.8Ω to 1.2Ω)

MTL coils also use FeCrAl mesh. The 1.2Ω is the tightest draw in the GTX range. Closest to a cigarette pull and best with nic salt e-liquids at 10mg or 20mg. The 0.8Ω opens the draw up a touch for vapers who want MTL with a bit more air.
