Vaporesso Armour Ultra Kit

The Vaporesso Armour Ultra packs a 5500mAh battery and 100W output into a kit that's IP68 waterproof, IP69K jet proof and MIL-STD-810H shockproof. It comes with the iTank T sub-ohm tank and two GTi dual mesh coils, so you've got a complete starter kit out of the box.

The Armour range has always been about durability, and this one takes it further than any Vaporesso kit before it. You're looking at up to three days on a single charge depending on your wattage. The AXON chipset with Boost Mode keeps the power delivery solid throughout. Seven colours available including Emerald Green, Storm Blue and Dune Gold.

Armour Ultra Battery and Charging

5500mAh is massive for a single battery mod like this. At 60 to 75W on the 0.2 ohm coil, most people get two solid days from it. Drop the wattage to 50W on the 0.4 ohm coil and you can stretch it closer to three. Heavy chain vapers at higher wattages will still get a full day without worrying.

Fast charging runs at 9V/2A or 5V/3A through USB-C, which gets the battery from flat to full in under an hour. The mod on its own weighs 173g and the full kit with the iTank T comes to 256g.

AXON Chipset and Power Modes

The AXON chip reads your coil resistance and adjusts the wattage automatically if you leave it on Smart mode. Boost Mode pushes 40% more stable power than Eco and 25% more than Pulse. You'll notice the difference in vapour thickness on the GTi mesh coils.

Pulse Mode keeps the wattage steady as the battery drops. Eco Mode dials everything back to squeeze more life out of the 5500mAh battery. Temperature Control is there too if you run TC compatible coils.

Quad-Rated Protection

Four protection ratings built into one kit, which is rare for any vape mod. Here's what each one actually means:

The USB-C port has a waterproof cover and there's a protective sleeve you can pop around the iTank T tank glass too. Every seal on the kit has been reinforced, so the protection isn't just a marketing spec.

iTank T and GTi Coils

The iTank T is a top airflow sub-ohm tank, this means the air intake sits above the liquid level, which cuts down on leaking compared to bottom airflow tanks. The slide to fill cap on top makes refilling quick.

Two GTi coils come in the box:

Both coils run best with high VG e-liquid at 70VG or above. The 0.2 ohm comes pre-installed and the 0.4 ohm sits in the box as a spare. Coil life varies, but expect one to two weeks depending on how sweet your e-liquid is.
