Geekvape Z Coils

The Geekvape Z coils are the XM Boost version replacement coils for the Aegis Legend range, T200, Z200, and all Z Sub-Ohm tanks (previously called the Zeus tank). Three resistances at 0.15Ω, 0.2Ω, and 0.4Ω cover DTL vaping from 50W up to 85W. All three use Kanthal mesh and push straight in with no threading.

The XM Boost versions last roughly twice as long as the original Z coils, around 50–60ml of e-liquid per coil. They work with high VG shortfills and 70/30 e-liquids. Not built for nic salts or 50/50. Each pack has five coils.

Z Coil Resistances

The 0.15Ω and 0.2Ω are close in wattage and both suit full DTL vaping. The main difference is the 0.15Ω pulls slightly more power and runs a touch warmer. The 0.4Ω drops the wattage down and stretches your battery further while still giving a solid DTL draw.

All three work best with 70/30 or higher VG e-liquids. Thinner 50/50 liquids can leak at these wattages through the mesh wicking.

XM Boost vs Original Z Coils

The Z XM Boost coils replaced the older Z Series coils. The XM versions last around twice as long, roughly 50–60ml of e-liquid per coil compared to 25–30ml on the originals. The mesh and cotton construction is improved, so flavour holds up better towards the end of the coil's life.

If you've been using original Z coils, XM Boost are the direct replacement. Same push-fit, same resistances, same tanks. They just last longer.

Push-Fit Installation

Pull the old coil straight out of the tank base. Press the new Z coil in until it clicks into place. No threading or screwing needed.

Prime every new coil before you vape on it. Drop e-liquid onto the cotton through the top and side ports, fill the tank, and wait three to five minutes before your first draw.
