VooPoo Argus Snap Cartridges

VooPoo Argus Snap cartridges are the newest refillable pods in the Argus pod kit range. The black cap snaps backwards on a hinge to open the fill port, so there's no silicone plug to pull out or lose. VooPoo moved away from the older flip-open and side-fill designs with these.

You get 0.4Ω, 0.7Ω, and 1.0Ω built-in mesh coils with iCOSM CODE 2.0 golden cotton rated to 260°C. The coil lasts through up to 100ml of e-liquid before the pod needs changing. All three work with nic salts and 50/50 e-liquids, and the 0.4Ω takes higher VG freebase as well.

Argus Snap Pod Resistances

Most people start with the 0.7Ω. At 14 to 18W it's the crossover between MTL and RDL, and it's where 10mg or 20mg nic salts work best. Not too tight, not too open.

The 1.0Ω tightens up the draw at 10 to 14W for people who want something closer to a cigarette pull. On the other end, the 0.4Ω runs warmer and looser at 18 to 30W for higher VG freebase and sub-ohm liquids.

Every Argus Snap cartridge uses the snap-off top-fill cap regardless of resistance. There's no side-fill version.

Snap-Off Fill Cap

Older Argus pods use either a flip-open silicone cap or a slide-across silicone plug depending on the resistance. The Snap cartridges got rid of both. One black cap on a hinge, snaps back to fill, snaps forward to seal.

That's the main difference between these and the Argus Top Fill V2 cartridges. Same built-in mesh coils, same iCOSM CODE 2.0 tech, same magnetic connection. Just a different way to fill.

Worth knowing on the first fill: let the pod sit for about 10 minutes after adding e-liquid. The cotton needs time to soak through properly or you'll get a dry hit.

The P3 is the only kit that comes with Snap pods in the box. Every other Argus kit ships with the Top Fill V2 pods, but you can buy the Snap cartridges separately and use them on any of those kits.
