Coil Types and Resistances

Tiger Coils - 0.3Ω

• Design: Twisted strip with a flat wire, resembling tiger stripes.
• Performance: Provides a balance between surface area and heating time, which can enhance flavour and vapour production.

Staple Coils - 0.3Ω

• Design: Composed of multiple strands of thin wire, "stapled" together by two outer wraps.
• Performance: These have a large surface area, which typically results in increased flavour and vapour.

Transformer Coils - 0.5Ω

• Design: A complex build that typically involves a mix of ribbon and round wires twisted together.
• Performance: Offers a unique vaping experience with a varied surface area that affects wicking and heating characteristics.

Twisted Coils - 0.5Ω

• Design: Made by twisting two or more strands of wire together.
• Performance: Increases the surface area compared to a standard single-strand coil, often leading to more vapour and flavour.

Super Clapton Coils - 0.55Ω

Clapton Coils - 0.65Ω

• Design: A thinner gauge wire is tightly wrapped around a thicker core wire, resembling guitar strings.
• Performance: The standard Clapton coil is well-known for its good balance of flavour and vapour production due to the increased surface area.

Compatibility

These coils are suitable for a wide range of rebuildable systems, including RDAs, RTAs, and RBAs. The resistances provided suggest that they can be used for both MTL and DTL vaping experiences, depending on the specific coil and device setup.
