Aspire Atlantis SE Coils
The Aspire Atlantis SE coils are nichrome mesh replacements built for DTL vaping at 20 to 60W. Three resistance options cover everything from warm, cloudy hits at 0.18 ohm through to a smoother, cooler vape at 0.35 ohm. Each coil drops straight into the Aspire Atlantis GT sub-ohm tank.
These Aspire Atlantis coils pair best with shortfill e-liquids and high-VG vape juice at 70/30 or above. The 0.35 ohm coil at lower wattages can handle 50/50 liquid, but the other two resistances need thicker juice to keep up with the power output. Nic salts aren't a good match for any of these coils at sub-ohm wattages.
Worth noting: Atlantis SE coils only fit the Atlantis GT tank. They won't work with the original Atlantis, Atlantis 2, Atlantis EVO, or any other Aspire tanks in the range.
Key Features
- Nichrome mesh construction for fast ramp-up
- 0.18 ohm coil running at 45 to 60W for maximum vapour
- 0.3 ohm coil running at 30 to 40W for a balance of clouds & flavour
- 0.35 ohm coil running at 20 to 30W for a smoother, cooler draw
- Pairs with shortfills and high-VG e-liquids (70/30 or above)
- Fits the Aspire Atlantis GT sub-ohm tank only
Tank Fit and What These Won't Work With
Atlantis SE coils are made for the Aspire Atlantis GT sub-ohm tank and only fit that specific model. The pin layout and seating are different from earlier Atlantis tanks, so they won't drop into the original Atlantis, Atlantis 2, or Atlantis EVO. If you've got one of those older tanks, you'll need the original Atlantis BVC coils instead.

The 0.18 ohm coil pushes the most power and produces the thickest clouds, so it chews through liquid faster than the other two. The 0.3 ohm sits in the middle and works well for vapers who want decent vapour without burning through a full tank every session. The 0.35 ohm is the most efficient of the three and gives a noticeably cooler draw at lower wattages. Our guide to finding your perfect wattage can help you dial things in if you're experimenting with different power levels.
Nichrome Mesh Construction
All three Aspire Atlantis SE coils use nichrome mesh rather than standard round wire. Nichrome ramps up to temperature faster than kanthal, so you're getting full flavour from the first pull without waiting for the coil to warm up. The mesh pattern spreads heat across a wider area of the wick, which helps with even vapour production and keeps hot spots to a minimum. If you want to understand how coil materials affect your vape, our guide to vape coils covers nichrome, kanthal, and stainless steel.
